Theory
The word ‘theory’ derives from the Greek ‘theorein’, which means ‘to look at’.

In the scientific sense of the word, a theory is a logically self-consistent way of describing and predicting the behavior of a natural or social phenomenon. It either originates from observable facts or is supported by them.
